The in game Tutorial is worth a read. It will only take a couple minutes but it will greatly increase your enjoyment of the game.

The controls have changed some but you can still use either the arrow keys or the keyboard to control movement:
Move - A and D or Left and Right
Jump - W or Up
Run - Shift or Control
Duck - S or Down
Change weapon - E or NumPad 0
Pause - P
Aim and shoot with your mouse
1 - 6 are weapon hot keys
